Ngozi Osuagwu, MD, FACOG

Dr. Osuagwu is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She attended The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and received her medical training at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Osuagwu then completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, an affiliate of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Osuagwu is the Clinical Director of the Women’s Health Center at Doctors Hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Osuagwu is big proponent of health education and preventive health, and treats her patients as members of her extended family. An award-winning author of the book Letters to My Sisters – Plain Truths and Straightforward Advice from a Gynecologist, she is particularly interested in preventive health, health education, adolescent gynecology, and management of uterine fibroids, vulvo-vaginal diseases and menopause. An avid reader and Scrabble player, she resides in Central Ohio with her husband of twenty years and three teenage children.
